I have the 4.7.4 Private License on my IMac and a trial version (not licensed) on my MacBook.  I want to make the version on my MacBook licensed.  I have gone to the info/licensing drop down on the MacBook and clicked the Activate License button and a window comes up (Open) but I can't find where to find the License File.
Also, the 4.7.4 version on my IMac states my name and Private License in the header which apparently got upgraded when I bought license but the email I received when I bought the license has a document which includes my Key that ends in ".lic".  I can not open this document.
So, 2 things, where is the file in my MacBook to open to activate the trial version to Private and how do I open the .lic document to get the key???

Put that lic file onto a USB drive and install it on the second computer. That file is not meant to be opened directly. There are step by step instructions in the email that came with the license file on how to install it, just follow them.
