Hi all,

just finished my second timelapse project, that took me a year to shoot and another year to complete.

I would be interested to hear from other people with hyperlapse experience on how to stabilize it properly. I'm using DaVinci Resolve Studio.
So far the only working solution is to use the automatic stabilizer (part of the Edit screen, in perspective or similarity mode). The more advanced option to stabilize in Fusion using a tracker does not work, as the sequences are way too long, changing direction and don't contain a single tracking subject (you would need to change the tracking subject every dozen or so meters moved).

In chapter "summer" you might see some jumping skies. This was caused by a faulty timer cable I used (in combination with a very old iPod Touch app). For the later sequences I moved to a nice new LRTimelapse Timer Pro 3 device. Big improvement!

Other feedback is welcome too!

Cheers,

Ferdinand
