I'm encountering a strange problem when using a DC coupler to power my Canon 5DII:

While everything works fine when using a battery, as soon as I use the couple, the USB connection to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is constantly interrupted and re-established ...

Has anyone expirienced this or can maybe run a test at home with a similar setup? Would be interesitng to see if other DC couplers, maybe the original, produce the same annoying problem.
I just don't see how the power source and the USB connection are connected?!
