Visual deflicker information captured by After Effects?

Hi Gunther,

For several project-specific reasons, I wish to import processed RAW image sequences into After effects directly, without the exporting to JPG -> rendering route. So basically, I import in LRT, set keyframes, import in LR, edit keyframes, reload in LRT, make transitions in LRT, run visual deflicker in LRT, save in LRT. Then I import the RAW sequences in After effects.

My question is: since the visual deflicker correction is not stored in the "exposure" metadata value, but in a different place, will After Effects read and use these corrections correctly? Or does this only work in LR and do I have to export from LR to make use of the magical powers of Visual Deflicker?

Best regards,
Jorrit

With RAW sequences It should work with after effects as you expected. Just make sure to be using the latest version of after effects.
