Am I correct in thinking that the visual previews will only display changes for DNG files rather than native RAW files? I am processing .NEF files and cannot see any of my adjustments in the visual preview window. I hope you can help.

No, the visual previews will work for all kind of raw files, of course including NEF.
Please make sure to use the latest LRTimelapse (4.0.2 as I write).

Please check: have you installed the latest DNG Converter? Is it being found by LRTimelapse (DNG Conv. Badge green on the top right).
If you turn on Visual Previews, the bar below the preview should slowly get green as the previews are being generated. If it gets red, something is not working. Then please send me the log (info/log).

My mistake, it was the DNG converter, I didn't get a warning either but I can see you've fixed that in the latest update.

LTR4 is an amazing update to an already brilliant software. Keep up the great work.
