Visual previews Require Raw or DNG files. Which file types does your sequence consist of?
If you are working with JPGs you can use Lightroom to convert those to DNG. Make sure that the time lapse sequence has only one file type.

Thanks for the reply. Issue solved. The sequence was shot in RAW with small JPEGs for reviewing. For some reason 2 x of the jpegs had found their way into the folder. Deleted them off the hard drive and visual previews working as expected. Thanks for the help.

I got the same problem, after add key frame, safe, edit in LR. I reload and I can see differences of the yellow curves on keyframe. Then I start visual preview, but there is no pink curve and after a while its finished but nothing changes. Here is my log, i already hide some of the same row.

The problem that you have is that your username in Windows consists of Chinese letters. This is not supported by the externaml Programs that LRTimelapse uses. In your case it's the windows temp directory that is set to C:\Users\员外\AppData\Local\Temp

Please change the location of the windows temp directory (for example explained here), this should help. Set it to C:\temp (create the folder also) or similar that has only ASCII characters.

Also make sure to not put any timelapse source files in your user dir (this applies also to your Desktop, since it's located under your user dir).

I have fix the problem,thanks so much for ur help.

I tried to change the temp fold to C:/ but there is still some error. so I just add a new administrator using all Eng character, and delete the older one. When I use the new admin fold, it works.
