Rich, as follows, the results of my test today:
You're right. My 5D2 has a delay of 10 seconds when closing the mirror after turning off "LV" option. Instead, the mirror of my 7D closes immediatly.

I have spent today quite a long time testing DDB on my 5D2 & 7D with my Galaxy S3. Gunther makes it look so easy in his video! My first impression about 'LRThelpscreen' is rather difficult to understand. I only catch half of it. I don't seem to find any instructions manual for 'LRThelpscreen'. I need help to fully understand, especially about 'average' and when should I start tapping to change values manually. Also there's a 'Auto Holy Grail' option which I haven't seen mentioned anywhere. Please could anyone tell me where can I get hold of a manual -if available-, tutorial or instructions for fully understand all options of LRThs? Many thanks for your help.
