Guys,

what screen size, resolution and brand do you prefer for photo- and/or videoediting?

Im working on this old 24" BenQ full hd screen, but thinking of upgrading to a 4K IPS-screen.
Feel free to suggest!

I'd not focus on an ultra high resolution, go for a great panel instead with a wide gamut and hardware calibration. I can recommend the screens from eizo. Here is what I use: https://gwegner.de/review/eizo-cs270-mon...arbeitung/

I will read thru your post later Gunther. But for what I understand, for photoediting which is basically what we do, the more the merrier what regarding pixels? So having a 4K screen with higher resolution will give you more details to work with when editing photos (which is 4K + res). But indeed you pay a lot for the 4K screens.

Im thinking of a 24" ish size. I've been looking at Eizo, but theres a lot of them. Any recommendations in the 400-600$ range?

Again, I don't think 4k is really important for photo or time-lapse editing. The best price performance ratio is maybe this one: https://gwegner.de/blog/eizo-cs2420-review/

I would like to test the Eizo screens, but I found it challenging buying them in Norway Sad
What do you think if this new IPS screen from BenQ PD2500Q?
