I upgraded from version 5 to version 6. After uninstalling 5, I installed version 6. When starting the programme, it is totally unresponsive. I cannot select any menu etc. I can only close the programme.

What might the problem be?

Did you try restarting your computer after the install of the new version?
On which OS are you working? Mac? Windows? Version?
Could you please send the Log file (it's in Documents/LRTimelapse - name is LRTimelapse.log)

Please provide more information.
