why is post-crop vignetting in LR set to -1?

Question

Hi All,

Strangely, when I first load metadata in LR after setting keyframes and HG wizard values in LRT, post-crop vignetting in LR is always set to -1 (highlight priority).

Is this vignetting setting deliberate, or have I altered the preset somehow?

Cheers!

It has technical reasons. Lightroom would otherwise remove the setting completely.

Good to know, thanks. But it's ok that I set it to zero each time, yes?

try it - but normally it shouldn't make a big difference, if you just leave it.

Well, I do work hard to avoid vignetting when shooting (by stopping down and using filter adaptors for wide lenses, etc). I can see a difference between -1 and 0, so I'll keep setting it to 0 (can I alter the preset, or would that mess things up?).

I've done some testing. Indeed this default setting is not needed anymore in LRT5. I'll remove it with the next upgrade.
Just set it to zero when editing the first keyframe, the sync script will then take the 0 over to the next keyframes and auto transition will zero out everything inbetween. Thank you for finding this.

Didn't realise I was helping, but very glad to! (and I have been zeroing it out and letting that propagate, thanks :-)
