Will LRT work in holy grail mode without exif data?

Offline

Thanks to LRT, my new favorite thing to do is shoot Holy Grail landscapes. I'm leaning toward buying a friends Sony A7 at a great price. I like the features, image quality seems really good, but the lens options are not great. If I adapt a lens to the A7 it will limit the lens to manual mode (can't afford an expensive adapter). With a mechanical lens I will be able to take exposures, but no aperture adjustments will show up the exif data (I assume).

Is there a workaround for this issue in LRT?

Any Sony users who have been through this issue already?

Am I missing anything here?

Thank you!!

I'd suggest then to leave the aperture alone, and use just ISO and Shutterspeed ramping, this will work without any problem. You can then use the Lens Tagger in LRTimelapse to put the aperture value into the exif data.

If you decide to change the aperture too (manually) there is a way too to do it: you would just have to tag each segment of the sequences with its own aperture. You will see where the aperture changed according to the blue luminance curve, then just do the correct tagging and then the holy grail wizard will work too.
