I don't see the option grayed out nor do I see the "**" next to the 4K UHD or the 4K option, but when I select either of those, the render button in the bottom right disappears and a warning about H.264 codec appears. It seems that I can only export to 3K for now, but I'm wondering if this is a bug or a feature.

Please check, if you can enlarge the dialog.
The warning will go away, when you tick “force 16:9“ - this will produce 4k then inside the specifications.

Actually, still having a problem with the 4K option (not 4K UHD). I still have the warning when I select 4K and have "force to 16:9" selected. When I click render video, I am given an error window telling me to check the log file.
And? What does the log file say? (info menu)
