I've checked the FAQ's and forum but cannot find an answer as to why my Scripts have disappeared (see attached)
Sorry if I missed it someplace

Thus, I can no longer use the following command:

6. elect the filter “LRT5 Keyframes” to see only the keyframes.

I am using version 4.8.3 (2017-12-06)

They do not appear in the scripts folder

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program to no avail

The filters are not in the scripts menu. That's different things. The filters are in the filer dropdown either in the filter bar (ctrl-f / mac: cmd-f) or on the toolbar in grid view.
Double check if you are looking at the right place.
