I updated yesterday to 5.3 and it takes several minutes to launch...

If not, whitelist the whole folder c:\program files\LRTimelapse in your virus scanner.

Did what you said and it still takes almost 2 minutes to load. ....

If you disable your virus scanner temporarily before launching, does that help?
