Hi,

ich habe bereits mehrere Timelapse-Videos ohne Einstellungs- oder Qualitätsprobleme erstellt (AV-Modus, Einfacher Workflow). Nun habe ich mein Setup aktualisiert, von einer APS-C mit 15mm (i.e. 35mm) zu einer Nikon D750 mit dem a Sigma 14mm, und den Visuellen Workflow verwendet. Operativ läuft alles durch.

Was ich nach mehreren Durchläufen und geringen (oder keinen) Anpassungen der Keyframes in Lightroom aber nicht weg bekomme, sind Artefakte bzw. grobe Abstufungen in den Farbverläufen des Himmels. Siehe hier:

Erscheinen tun die Artefakte links im Preview, sobald ich die Visuellen Vorschauen erstelle. Ich habe diverse Änderungen an den Keyframes versucht (umfassend und minimal (nur mit kleinen Belichtungsänderungen, etc.): kein Effekt. Auch komplett ohne Änderungen an den Keyframes erscheinen sie. In den gerenderten Videos - egal wie ich sie erzeuge - sind sie dann auch drin.

Hat jemand eine Idee, was die Ursache sein kann?

I'm currently travelling that's why I can't check your video.
It might be either banding in the sky due to the video compression (search for that term here in the forum, we already discussed it a couple of times) or real artefacts due to limitations in the MP4 format, please check this faq: https://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-wei...5#pid39015

Yes, banding seems to be the issue. I don‘t get rid of it even if I crop most parts of the foreground. The moon is rising right through the image, getting pretty bright.

Maybe this creates problems... though I have made a time-lapse video with many, fast moving clouds and the rising moon which didn‘t have banding.

Maybe you could try adding some noise/grain in the keyframe editing. This might help.

Well, adding noise didn't help.

Reading many other threads about banding makes me think one way to avoid it, is ramping the max. exposure manually.

In my run, qdslrdashboard first tried to reach the max. given exposure. As I was trying to max. out the stars of the night sky, I did set this to 15s.

Next time I will try to take the daylight photos with a shorter max. exposure of e.g. 1s. When this is reached, I will try to increase the max. exposure and see if qdslrdashboard will start to adjust the other parameters for reaching the correct luminance.

It would be easier to help you, if we could have a look at the video. Maybe you can upload it somewhere and post a link here.
