Hi everyone,

I am looking for several month for a "small" camera for day to night timelapses.
I do own a 5d3 but when i am traveling, it takes lots of space and wheight in the luggages.
I looked for a compact camera compatible with DslrDashboard but i didn't find anything.

I recently saw that the new Gopro 8 Black shoud be able to do day to night timelapses with bulbramping.

Does anyone have tried it ??
Is it any good ?
Are raw files "true" raw and can it be adjust in lightroom as well as canon or nikon raw files ??

I would like to have some reviews before spending 400$ on it !

Thanks a lot !

Nicotom
For Timelapse a GoPro is rather a toy than a "real" camera. The results are not comparable with those from a DSLR. If you want something Lightweight, go for a APS-C DSLR or Mirrorless.
Thanks Wink
I could recommend you one of Panasonics smaller cameras, i use a GX80 with a small kit lens for light weight travelling. Its super portable and the results are very good.
Plus the panasonic timelapse mode is the best i found on any system, you can let the camera run without having to check every 5min and wont get disappointed....

You can get it new for under 400$, used even a lot cheaper.
