I'm having difficulty with the NMX controller app and the qdslrdashboard staying connected at the same time. Zoltan at Qdslrdashbord said that it's a problem with iOS. Once you go to out of Qdslrdashboard to another app the wifi will disconnect. Does anybody with iOS have any suggestions when using both apps? Thank you.
Forgot to mention, I'm using the Canon 6D Mark II
Do you really need a connection to both a the same time? I typically connect first my iPhone to the NMX, upload the new parameters, start the sequence, and then establish the connection between Qdslrdashboard and the camera. But I mostly use the NMX in SMS slave mode and trigger my camera either by the LRT Pro Timer or via the internal timelapse app.
