Hi everyone,

I am currently looking for timelapse motion control equipment and found the iFootage Shark Slider Mini with the Pan/Tilt Head Mini X2.
It seems quite travel friendly and compact.
But I donĀ“t find many reviews or tests online (many sound more like marketing).

Has anybody in the forum experience with this slider and can share his/her thoughts?

Thanks in advance,
alex
I have one, works great. Plenty of examples on YouTube.
I also have one. It's works great but down side is motor not strong enough to lift camera to steep angle.
It's very portable.
Thanks for your answers.
I bought the kit and am very happy with it.
Hi all,

I'm interested in this kit as well. Any updates or fresh perspectives?

Does it play nice with LRTimelapse Pro? I have v2.5 but am thinking of adding a 3.0 to the family. I don't think there's a difference in MoCo interface but... correct me if wrong!

On the concern about motors not being strong enough for steep angles, I wonder if it's possible to jury rig a counterweight system? I got a weak DIY motor lifting vertically on my iFootage Shark S1 by crafting a makeshift "davit" out of spare camera rig bits, a pulley and a sack of lead fishing weights. It's not pretty, but it gets the job done!

Thanks for any further inputs on the Shark Slider Mini + Pan/Tilt head!
