I have 3 problems after upgrading to 5.5.7
They are
1. MJPEG is no longer listed as an option on Render
2. If I select colour of 422 I get black output video.
3. One of my timelapse and only one, has a black line across the top of the screen. This line is not present in the original, nor is it present in the intermediary sequence file.
It is very confusing,

1.) MJpg has been removed in one of the latest updates and replaced by the much better and more wide spread DNxHR codec.
2.) No, I don't think so. Which player are you using? Most likely your player cannot handle that color sampling. Use an advanced player like MPC on windows or bring the sequence to an editing Program (422 doesn't make sense for playback anyway - I'd only use it if you want to render for further editing).
3.) Also could be a problem with your player, the aspect ratio (try checking "force 16:9 crop" in the render dialog.
