Hi,

I am having an issue with this particular timelapse, but the same already happened with other ones. I've shoot in manual mode and from time to time I would increase the exposure, but when generating previews I have this small step when it should be smooth.

That's normal. Holy grail wizard is purely applied upon exif data which in not always accurate. Visual deflicker will take care of such residual deviations.
Make sure to set a reference area for deflicker as explained in the deflicker tutorial.
