Great to see the final version is out, I'm having great fun playing it. I've noticed that the time for loading the previews has increased drastically from beta 1 to the final version. I'm 1105 images in of a sequence of 1309 and it's been working for 15 mins.
System specs

MBPro 2.2GHz core i7
OSX10.8.1 8Gb ram
LRTimelapse 2.0 final (2.10Gb memory allocated)
Running LR4.1 (1.9Gb memory allocated)
607Mb memory free
FireWire 800 drive no daisy chaining.

Ironically, it seems to be faster when initializing metadata at the same time as loading the previews.

Any thoughts?

The first time you load a sequence it takes longer because the previews have to be generated. The next times it's faster, albeit a bit slower than in the previous versions, because I compress the previews in memory to save RAM! This allows much bigger sequences to be loaded into memory!
