Full Version: Changed Camera (drone) setting mid hyperlapse... Best way to edit this?

Hey all,

Fairly new to LRTimelapse so I wanted to ask what the best method of editing this hyperlapse to look smooth in terms of its visual luminance.
I was shooting at the early hours of sunrise so the sun was coming up fast and the light was changing quickly. As I got about half way through the hyperlapse I changed my shutter speed to account for the brightening sky. I have attached my graph below for visual representation.

Just curious if there is a preferred method of tackling this issue?

Cheers,

Megan
Apply the holy grail wizard, which should compensate for the change in exposure.
Then do the regular editing and smooth everything out via visual deflicker.
It's basically the same procedure that I explain in my holy grail tutorial, see: https://lrtimelapse.com/tutorial/basic/
Wow thanks Gunther! The Man the Myth himself! ahh i watched many of your tutorials already but skipped that one because I didn't shoot using your holy grail method! Good to know! Ill give it a shot
Actually you did shoot this one with the holy grail method... :-)
Ahh so anytime you manually change settings its considered the holy grail method! noted! thanks again Gunther!
