Hello.
Is there a work flow to fix this?

During the shots, I changed (experimented) with the shutter speed. Now there are three places with sharp exposure spikes (2 frames in each)...and then sharp drops back to "normal".

I've tried a few ways, but still get the exposure spikes show up. Is there a work flow to follow in order to fix this (possibly)?

Thank you...Lu
If you have the following situation:

NNSSSN

where (N = normal, S= Spike) you could try the following:

Set keyframes to the images marked bold (normal keyframes, key 1).
Save in LRTimelapse, go to Lightroom
Read metadata in Lightroom (Grid-View, select all, read metadata from files)
Set a filter to >=1 Star

Go to the Develop Module.
Open the film strip at the bottom.
Select the leftmost of those marked images (the second N in the sequence from our example), now select the "S" images while holding Ctrl.

Now hit Ctrl-Alt-Shift-M to invoke "Match Total Exposures" and see if they now look same. If so, save metadata, render video, be lucky!
Hello Gunther

Okay, will do.
I've tried something similar with KF 1.

Oh, and in the meantime, for a good measure, I went back
into the mountain stream with rubber boots for a redo : )

So, there was only one spike (in the redo shots), LRT marked it with two left HG KF's
and one right HG KF.

Matching exposures of the last two worked - phew!
Must say LRT with LR makes a HUGE difference along with the help
on this VERY useful forum.

Thank you for that Gunther!
