Firmware 30
- Pixel indicators for release will now show on all screens, not only the running screen.
- Bulb exposures were not correctly terminated when any other than the running screen was active.
- Interval ramping was not properly cleared when stopping a shooting from the pause screen.
- Changed "RTC Not Running" message to "Real Time Clock init! If this msg. repeats after set. the time, replace the buffer battery (see manual)."

Impossible to update
I tried 10 cables on 2 Mac and 2 PC). I have to change the CR1220 battery because it no longer works.
Could this be the cause?

The buffer battery change every couple of years is normal. But it has only impact on buffering the date/time in the real time clock. It's not related to any firmware update.

Hi, after upgrading to FW30, the timer (2.5) gets stuck at the "press button" part of "Flash OK / RTC OK / rotate UP / rotate DOWN / Press Button"
any ideas?
Check if the button is maybe to close to the housing and doesn't press. Gently (!) pull it off a bit and try again.
the button is ok, you can hear and feel the click. Also, the button worked fine before updating the firmware
The operation of the button has nothing to do with the firmware.
If the button is not working anymore, it might be defective. In that case, please write an email to sipport(at) lrtimelapse.com and attach your invoice.
ok I downgraded to 29, still same issue. I'll contact support as suggested
Update LR Pro Timer 3 von FW 29 auf FW 30 friert der Windows Explorer ein
Beim Kopieren der Uf2-Datei auf das Laufwerk "LRTPROTIMER" friert der Windos-Explorer bei der Berechnung der Dauer des Kopiervorgangs ein. die Datei wird nicht kopiert und der Windows Explorer musste nach einigen Minuten Stillstand mit dem Task-Manager abgebrochen werden. Meine Update-Versuche unter Win11 auf meinem Laptop, sowie unter Win10 auf meinem Desktop-Computer führten immer zum gleichen Ergebnis.
Selbiges Problem habe ich seit ca. 3 Jahren auch, ohne Lösung. Ich glaube aber nicht, dass Gunther das lösen kann.
Auf meinem Lenovo P52 ging es anfänglich unter Windows 10, dann irgendwann plötzlich nicht mehr. Zeitgleich hat es aber auf meinem Firmennotebook (Dell, dann Lenovo) unter gleichem OS weiterhin problemlos funktioniert, ebenso auf einem Macbook. Update auf Windows 11, Neuinstallation aller Treiber (USB etc.), Deaktivierung Virenscanner etc. hat alles nichts gebracht.
Für mich ist das ein mysteriöses Problem der Hardware/OS Kombi. Momentan kann ich ein Update nur über das Macbook machen. Da es prinzipiell funktioniert, glaube ich weder an ein Hardwareproblem des Pro Timer noch an ein Problem mit der Firmwaredatei.
