Its not so much that there is no preview. Everything is flatlined.

I can't see anything wrong in your sceenshot. The yellow curve is flat because the exposure values are all the same. The red curve doesn't work because deflicker won't work without previews.
I recommend watching some of the tutorials to get the idea how to make transitions with LRTimelapse.

Just tested a quick Timelapse I shot this afternoon using the EXIfTool version and the previews were fine
