Hello,

I was asking myself if the sensor of the Alpha 57 can handle the milky way at ISO 1600 and 30 seconds. I recently had an opportunity to do a little test sequence in the Alps.

The pictures were not taken in perfect circumstances. I made the photographs from a not very dark and hazy vally. Anyway, I think the sensor has potential.

to whom it may concern,

I just learned that Sony Alpha 57 and Nikon d7000 use the same sensor. That was new to me.
