I have a cam ranger router that I use for my canon 7d. Unfortunately it doesn't work with the mx3. I want to start using dslrdashboard but not are if I can flash the cam ranger router or would I be better off getting a new TP link router?

I would recommend getting yourself a TPLink router - it's cheap.
