Hi,

Is there any possibility to synchronize two or more NIKON cameras to take pictures simultaneously, e. g. to create 3D pictures?

As a 1st step synchronization of simultaneous shutter release of two (multiple) cameras with a 100 % synchronization of the shutter release to be able to take pictures wit 1/4000 sec. or lower would be fine.
That would mean that the shutter release function should be synchronized in a way that it could be influenced if there is minimal delay to each other to align the cameras.

It should be possible to combine different NIKON models, e.g. a D200 and a D5100 or two D5100 or a D5100 and a D800.

NIKON only offers to connect two NIKON cameras with MC-23 connecting cord, but only for cameras with the 10-pin controlled interface (D200, D300, D700, D800, D1-, D2-, D3- D4- series) and not if two D5100 or one D200 and one D5100 should be connected to take pictures in parallel.

Is there any possibility to take pictures with two or multiple NIKON cameras with a USB hub, connection cables and software?

Cheers
