I run LR 4.4 and LRT 2.3.2 in Windows.

I noticed that LRT shows dozens of folders of timelapse sequences that no longer exist on my system. I tried the DEL button as well as right-clicking on the folder(s). It looks like those 'empty' folders contain XMP files, and that I CAN delete them in Explorer or from the DOS prompt.

How do I delete those folders from within LRT?

LRTimelapse does only show folders that actually exist on your system. If you want to delete them, just use the explorer. LRTimelapse does not have a tool to delete folders.
