I'm sorry if I open the topic.
I have a similar advice concerning which I could not solve.
My workflow:
Amount raw files (cr2) from the memory card into Lightroom
I do not apply any edit
rightclick on the first image - metadata -> Update DNG preview and metadata
I open Lrtimelapse
I select the folder where the new DNG
initialize

the result is always the same.

PREVIEW COULD NOT BE LOADED

where am I doing wrong?

Ist Exiftool active? (Exiftool badge on the top right in LRTimelapse green?
Are you on mac or pc?
If on mac - did you install the LRTimelapse Addons from the installer?

I am a macuser
  I had not uploaded the addons.
I've done it now.
I closed and reopened LRtimelapse exiftool but the icon is still red.
I also rebooted the system but the result is the same.

Is there a way to see if exiftool is correctly installed?

Stop everything.
I downloaded exiftool from the web
it works now.
