Hi there,

I'm brand new to time-lapse photography and need a little bit of help please.

I've read the ebook by Gunther which was really helpful.

I'm just a little stuck on what you should focus on when setting up for a landscape time-lapse.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Nick
Thanks unento, that's a great help. Smile
Please consider that if you step down an automatic lens to anything else then "open aperture" you might get aperture flicker (explained in my ebook). Stepping down might as well make dust spots on the sensor visible - a pain to correct for time lapses.
Most of the time shooting wide open and just accepting a bit of foreground blur is the way that will deliver best results.
Thanks Gunther, I've been using the twisted lens trick which seems to be working well.

I haven't noticed any dust spots in the post but will keep my eye out.
