I'd like to do a timelapse of monsoon clouds forming, but that happens over the course of several hours. I read that it's recommended to do 5 second intervals for slow moving clouds. That would require more memory than I have on my CF card. Any suggestions?
Buy a bigger CF-Card ;-)

Ok - kidding - but that would certainly be an option. Another one would be, to quickly swap cards. With some training you might be able to do that in 5 seconds. Make sure to use an external intervalometer.
I did buy a 64 memory card from Kingston a while back. It was not a good card. I kept getting error messages. I don't know if it was just that particular card, or not. I had to return it. I have changed cards in the middle of a shoot, but worried that it might be bad for the camera or card. Is there a brand of card that is more reliable than others?
I mostly use these cards and never had any problems.
I have used the Sony and Sandisk ones no problems.

Sometimes on sale for $30.

I just bought some neat looking Samsung ones for around the same price too.

These are really cheap... But only if you have SD storage.

If not, you could also try shooting tethered to a laptop.
