Hi Gang,
I have been shooting time lapses with a Nikon D3, and various G lenses. I am using a Samsung tablet with dslrdashboard with good success.

I plan to purchase a Canon 6D body and a Novoflex EOS/NIK-NT adapter so that I can stop my Nikon G lenses down without flicker. I also like the idea of having 3 sizes of RAW files to choose from, as well as a sensor that attempts to clean itself.

I am looking for any feedback and/or tips before I jump in and make this purchase. Does this sound like a good setup for time lapse?

Hi John,
that's my current setup for TL. Works well. The 6D connects via internal WiFi to the tablet, you can use sRAW and have a good sensor for night sky photography. Only the dynamic range of the Canon is inferior compared to the Nikons.
