Preview could not be loaded as can be seen in your tutorial (Using NEF's) It suggests to "try" converting your files to DNG (with Lightroom or he Adobe DNG converter), but I would like to avoid the extra work.

Normally it's just Exiftool missing. If you are on Mac make sure to install the LRTimelapse Addons from the intstaller package.
