Hi,

I'm posting here, because I'm a bit confused about my 7 months old 6D that I used recently for doing my first starlapse with it. I noticed a lot of hot pixels in my images. Over 40.
Here you can see a still frame of my sequence at its full size.

Here is a little info that might be helpful.
My sequence was 302 frames long.
The temperature of the environment was around 13-15 C degrees
My camera settings was 25" exposure time. 28 seconds interval.
ISO 3200

Already tried manual sensor cleaning which remaps the hot pixels and removes them.
My question is, how I can avoid having this issue? I remember that I have never have this problem with my old 550D even shooting with exposure of 30" sec and 6400 ISO.

I expect from higher class camera a better performance compared to my old crop body.

Hope that somebody can share some experience and help me solve the problem.

Best regards
Stefan
