I use LRtimelapse and love it! I also have a new gadget I built to take more TL footage. I intend to incorporate this system to a linear rail system to incorporate two dimensions of movement

Very Nice! Doing something similar using a GigaPan unit mounted to a rail.

I think I may go with a 7.2V pack...slow it down even more. Here's a quick one I did using the turn table:
