It would be very helpful if TIFFs exported from LRTimelapse were able to be imported into Adobe Premiere Pro.

This is a limitation in Premiere Pro. For example you can easily drag any LRT_* folder into After Effects. I have no idea, why Premiere Pro does not support the compressed tiffs created by Lightroom.
