I've watched a few videos and I think I'm starting to get the process, I think Smile. I haven't seen any posts addressing a large number of files. I have a project now with about 30k in images. They were all shot at the same location and same angle over an 8th month period of time. What's the first step in dealing with all these images? Do I cull out first or let the software do the work?

Thanks
Officially LRTimelapse only supports sequences up to 10.000 images.
Larger sequences might work technically, but you have to make sure to provide enough memory (on mac see: http://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-mac-...rtimelapse ).
Best would be to use the long term workflow to filter out unwanted images, but I would split into different, smaller folders of < 10.000 images before filtering and then bring them together and do a final filtering.
Check out the instructions for the long term workflow http://lrtimelapse.com/instructions -
BTW: you will need a Pro license in order to use the long term workflow with the filters.
where do I extend memory on win7?
I have the pro version,
On windows, LRTimelapse will dynamically reserve the memory it can get. No need to set that manually like on mac. Make sure that your computer has enough ram, close other programs, check the memory indicator on the top right.
