Full Version: Light turn on during my timelapse

I took a timelapse last night. Unfortunathely some bright lamps turned on in the foreground of my images for the last 20%. It is so bright (only white) that I can't fix it with lightroom highlights and exposure anymore.

But as this part of the image doesn't move at all I would like to copy it from the previous image without light. What is the best way to do that when using LR Timelapse?

Thanks and regards

Oli
Easiest would be to make a masking in after effects. But mostly it won't work too well, because such bright lights will be reflected in the other areas too.

To try it, just use the intermediary sequence that you exported via lrtexport and drag that to after effects.

Ok thanks, I was thinking about doing it in the RAW. But I think it is not possible. An other idea is cutting the correct image with transparency in Photoshop and import it in FCPX and put it over the movie.
Yes that was basically what I meant with masking.
