I wanted to redo an old timelapse with the new pro version so I reinitialized the series and ran it through the program, edited it and reloaded it in lrtimelapse.  However when I told lightroom to read the metadata I found that all the edits had been removed and the white balance changed to a strong yellow cast.

Hi Melani, normally LRTimelapse does not delete any edits, when you do the workflow right.
I'd suggest, do it again, follow the instructions here: https://lrtimelapse.com/workflow
