I have just downloaded the latest version, 4.7.6, but it will not run on my Windows 7 pc. I have installed the lates adobe dng converter too. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it will not run at all? Has anyone else encountered this?

You need a 64 bit Windows to run it. If you are still on 32bit is, as a workaround you could try the special launcher from the start menu. Bout you will neff to have a recent 32 bit java then installed. 32 bit is not officially supported anymore.
