Dear Friends,
Last week I was invited to shoot a time lapse of the delivery of an Industrial Electrical Transformer. It came by boat vis the Manchester canal that runs from Liverpool to Salford docks in Media City. It took two days for the operation as they have to assemble a delivery truck, 148 wheels, with back and front drive to carry this transformer to another area outside Manchester.
The first day it was a cloudy dull menacing rain kind of day, the second day it was a glorious Autumn sunny day with fluffy clouds. I thought I would be able to edit the footage, 4000 shots per day, but the operation involving so many people was so complex that I found myself pondering where to cut and paste, so I just left it as is.
