When I load those two images with their XMPs into LRT and do the Visual Previews, I don't see any difference at all.
The XMP files are very similar in their values also.
What I notived is, that you edited very heavily, it looks quite "HDRish" to me. Try editing less. Lightroom sometimes makes quite big changes in the appearance of an images, although the editing is quite the same, when you use non linear tools to a certain extent. Hey, quick update here: Reinstalling the DNG Converter / Camera Raw for Mac did solve the problem!

Glad you sorted that out. I cannot stress enough to always use the latest version of the DNG Converter. LRTimelapse even displays an information dialog, if you are using an outdated DNG Converter.
