LRT 5 TL's not playing back smoothly - sklooty - 2018-05-05

Hi Everyone,

Looking for help from Gunther or the community. I just finally upgraded from LRT4 and in LRT 5 I cannot seem to get the finished TL's to play smoothly. I am on an iMAC 27" 10.10.5. LRT 5.0.6.
I have output new files from LR to make a new clip as well as using older LRT converted files that I thought that I could just render from the 4 year old files.

Thank you for the guidance.

LRTimelapse is meant to create master files for editing in a video editor like Premiere Pro or FCP. That means, they are not optimized for direct playback in the first instance. But of course, with the right settings and player, you should be able to play them back also.

First make sure that you are using a decent video player, on Mac I recommend the VLC player.
Then, if you encounter problems with the files, there are a couple of thing, to make them more compatible:
- Try MP4 / Prores (avoid H.265/Motion JPG for now)
- Use "Force 16:9" when rendering
- Use Standard Gamut when rendering
- Use a lower resolution
