nil plug-in is not installed or not working properly - MrBob - 2018-06-25

Hello,

I've just installed LRT5, have been able to edit a Timelapse sequence with no issue but have the error message "nil plug-in is not installed or not working properly" in the Export dialog when trying to export the sequence (I am using Lightroom CC on a recent MacBook Pro).

I'm creating a new post here because I followed these related posts and that did not help:
https://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-lrtimelapse-4-lightroom-addons-and-script-not-installed-mac. --> Lightroom CC shows the right folder. Here is what I see there:
  • In 'Export Presets' --> 'LRTimelapse' folder contains 4 presets, all from 2018 (not prefixed LRT5, but because of dates, I suppose they're from the new install)
  • In 'Filter Presets' --> 'LRTimelapse' folder contains 4 filters and 3 of them are prefixed LRT5
  • In 'Scripts' --> no 'LRTimelapse' folder, only a '01 LRTimelapse Sync Keyframes.lua' file
https://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-lrt4-lightroom-plugin-sync-script-and-filters-not-installed  -->   'Store presets with this catalog' is unticked

Note that the filters are working fine, I see the new LRT 5 filters to filter sequence by keyframes.

I've already tried to reinstall the application and that did not change anything.

The only thing I did differently from previous upgrade is that I first removed the previous LRT4 installation. Previously, I just installed the newer LRT version "on top" of the older one and I've never had any issue.

I'd recommend to uninstall LRT5 again via the uninstall script provided in the Install package on mac.
Then reinstall.
Then check the plugin manager (from File-Menu) in Lightroom. It should show the Plugin as activated with the latest version. If you have any older LRTExport plugin listed there, remove it. Try again.
