Pro timer with alternative UNO board, lower power consumption !! - Sheeba - 2018-08-22 Hello Gunther, hello people, I have a long-term test today with my new Pro Timer https://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-alternatives-geh%C3%A4use-f%C3%BCr-protimer in which I use a UNO clone made. I have in my new Pro Timer ext software https://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-new-pro-timer-software-extended a delay time of 12 hours programmd . After 12 hours, the Pro Timer (battery 9V 800mAh) still works well. This has surprised me compared to previous tests and I have measured it !! Previous board: Elego UNO R3 ATMEGA328P-PU, Display D1ROBOT: Display max brightness = 150 mA Display off = 48mA New board: NHdurino UNO ATMEGA 328P-AU, Display D1ROBOT: Display max brightness = 125 mA Display off = 25mA That means nearly half the power consumption in the "Display off" operation !! Especially for long TL this is very interesting. I will continue to research !! Greetings Hans RE: Pro timer with alternative UNO board, lower power consumption !! - MLXXXp - 2018-08-22 Still quite a bit more current than my 3.3V "clone": Display max brightness = 7.1 mA Display off = 5.5 mA http://www.mlxxxp.ca/electronics/intervalometer/ |
