What does Lum and Reference represent? - zaey - 2018-09-14

Hi,
i'm wondering what the Lum and Reference value in LRTimelapse do represent?
I know that qDslrDashboard is analyzing the Luminance Histogram but the real technical aspect behind this interests me.
Are the Colors different rated how we see it (because the 3 rgb Colors are different bright to People), or can i set it somewhere?

Would really like to get some insights.

Lum value in qDDB is being calculated based upon a sophisticated Histogram-Analysis algorithm. Reference is just the value which will trigger the change of camera settings, when Lum reaches this value.
