Anyone tried long exposure milky way timelapses yet? - Novelectro - 2019-04-18 I was just thinking of some interesting applications for the timer beyond just cutting down on dark time. I dont know if I've ever seen a MW timelapse with long exposures done from a tracker but you'd be able to do it with the pro timer. So for example if you mounted your camera to a star adventurer and did 2 minute exposures at ISO 800 to get a more detailed single image you could just have the pro timer trigger every 121 seconds and end up with a timelapse of the same quality of image as you typically see in single images. Anyone tried something like this yet? RE: Anyone tried long exposure milky way timelapses yet? - Gunther - 2019-04-28 Sure, why not? |
