hi,
Im getting in LRT original preview images in portrait view instead of landscape?
I checked the settings but could not find anything that could change this in the options.
Can I change this somewhere in LRT?

You are posting in the LRT4 forum. Are you still using LRT4? Different orientations are only supported in LRT5.

As I said, in LRT4 the preview will only show landscape. In LRT5 other orientations are supported as well.
LRT4's support has ended. You should consider upgrading.

then why do I get portrait in LRT4?
secondly, why am I getting so many errors in jpg files when loaded?

I don't know, which errors you get. Maybe the JPGs are corrupt?
