Correctly setting up a 3 axis motion control? - Mike M - 2019-09-13

Guys
Just how easy/hard is it to correctly set up for 3 axis movements?
I'm guessing that you have to get the horizontal axis perfectly correct and if say you are on the side of a hill the only way to do this is but messing about and adjusting the height of one of your tripods, is that right?
Just guessing again but the vertical axis isnt so important as the tilt module would compensate for this.

Thanks
Mike

Normally those devices have water levels to align them properly.

Hi Mike, you could also buy a hotshoe level, they are very handy.
